Space
The CONA space is located in Borivali (North of Mumbai). It is a two storeyed bungalow with a sizable terrace space, which is often used for presentations, workshops and evening gatherings. The space shares proximity with the boundary of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park and hence is frequented by snakes and leopards. We have a fully functional in-house printmaking studio with an etching press, a Risograph machine, and other necessary tools. CONA has sizable presentation space, which doubles up as a community studio. Instead of allotting private kitchenettes, we have created a community kitchen/canteen facility to break beard and share ideas. We have three bedrooms with modest furniture. In addition to this, we have high-speed internet services via WiFi along with one private office and one community office, which is in our library space. Our library is well stocked for the use of researchers and students alike. In addition to this, the surrounding terrain is perfect for early morning walks, and a meet with the friendly cats in the society!
