A workshop on bookmaking | Vishwa Shroff and Katsushi Goto

CONA organised a workshop on bookmaking conducted by Vishwa Shroff & Katsushi Goto from the 11th of May 2014 to 16th of May 2014. The students were chosen on the basis of the applications.
Vishwa Shroff has a BFA from M.S University of Baroda (2002) and MFA from Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, UK (2003). She participated in various residencies and was the recipient of the UNESCO-Aschberg Bursaries for Artists 2011. She lives and works in Tokyo and Baroda.
Katsushi Goto has a Bachelor of Architecture from Meiji University, Tokyo, and Master of Architecture from Architectural Association, London. He has worked as an architect in India on various scales of architectural and master planning, now works with Apartment Co. Ltd. in Tokyo
About the workshop
The workshop aims at the process of making a book as a whole, which not only refers to the development of content, but the format itself, wherein the format and binding methods are appropriated to the content or concept of the individual.
