Coming together to work at the CONA Print Studio | Shashi Kumar and Arvind Sharma
01 April 2019
Coming together to work at the CONA Print Studio explored the idea of bringing in print makers from different parts of the country in order to collectively work in the studio, wherein each ones practice dissolves at some point into the others, where the dynamics of sharing a studio come to play, where exchange of techniques, ideas, tools and processes happen and where the idea of waiting comes into being. What does one do while the machine is being used by the other? How does one work on the same wood collectively? What is the politics of collaborative works? Whether such working together can be called a Collaboration? What is the dynamics of such togetherness in the studio especially when one is out of college? How does one assist another artist? Would one assist another artist?
